Process
At the heart of our personal branding work is understanding and beginning with the individual in each and every setting, whether you are a corporate employee, a business owner or an individual. We work on you developing a confident presence to project your personal brand successfully.
My process begins with an assessment of a series of detailed questions and discussions targeted at exploring and identifying your current sense of self and personal brand. In other words, how do you show up to the world now and what is being said behind your back! This lets us identify what is and isn’t working for you.
We then work with you or your staff to define how you want to express who you are to the outside world based on what your goals are, whether personal or professional. We work together to achieve a new attitude based on your new sense of self and personal brand and polish it all off by refining your wardrobe and interaction skills based on your goals. Then, we work on translating your new personal brand to your business brand in order to increase revenues, productivity and morale.

Legal
I have amassed conclusive research evidencing the impact of attractiveness and appearance on jury verdicts. We are not talking about reading a particular jury directly, but focusing on the defendant. The bottom line: attractive defendants and those strategically groomed receive more favorable sentences.
As a fellow attorney, I understand litigation well. I will come in and work with your defense team to ensure your defendant has the right appearance in order to have the best shot at the most favorable verdict. This encompasses not only clothing, but hair, makeup, facial hair, in addition to how your defendants carry themselves.
Whether you are a partner, associate, in-house counsel or any other type of attorney, you know how much our industry is governed by first impressions. Statistics confirm that in only 7 to 30 seconds , you either have a shot at getting that new client, getting that great job or getting left behind.
I have been on both sides of the table- as an attorney at a law firm and as in-house counsel. I know the issues and challenges we face as attorneys in getting and keeping clients.
Associate Training
I have been an associate and remember the days well!! Nothing is worse than time and money spent on associates who stay a short time and then leave for greener pastures. Associates are the future of any firm and helping them develop early on is key to not only their growth, but your firms’ success.

In this seminar I focus on teaching associates to be productive, pro-active and still maintain a balanced life-style so as to avoid burn-out and stay on track for partnership. Together we work on polishing their skills regarding client interaction and personal brand to be appropriate for law firm lifestyle.
In-House Counsel Training
I’ve worked as in-house counsel to a large company. Being in-house counsel has its own challenges because now you are the “cost center” and no longer the rainmaker. What does “casual Friday” really mean when you run the risk of having the CEO “pop” into your office at any time Monday through Friday? I am familiar with the obstacles faced by in-house counsel regarding integrating with other attorneys and finding workplace harmony with other departments.
I come in to your corporation and work with your attorneys to define their personal brand and interactive skills with everyone from the CEO to support staff to the marketing folks.
Support Staff Training
The bottom line is that clients’ first impression of your legal business is often times based on their interaction with your staff- on the phone and in person. Often times support staff do not receive the focused attention they need. Support staff need to feel good about their job and their achievements. They also need to look the part of being an integral component of any legal workplace.
In this seminar, I work with your support staff on their appearance as well as taking pride in their employer. Through a series of exercises, we make sure they understand what is appropriate attire and manners in the workplace. We also work on boosting morale and being results-oriented and a team player.
